Modern Slavery Statement
Kudos Shower Products Limited (“Kudos”) manufactures products and sells to third party companies. Our supply chain includes receiving goods (principally related to the manufacturing of products) from a variety of sources. As part of its services Kudos contracts with customers and suppliers, including temporary work agencies who supply labour to this organization.
We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or in any part of our business. Our Anti-slavery Policy reflects our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure slavery and human trafficking is not taking place anywhere in our supply chains.
We believe that, in conjunction with the rigorous policies implemented by our clients and suppliers, we can drive out any aspects of human trafficking and slavery.
Kudos Shower Products Limited places paramount importance on only working with suppliers who treat their obligations towards modern slavery with the importance that Kudos Shower Products Limited does. We will not work with any organisation within our supply chain that is unable to demonstrate a corresponding commitment to this subject, irrespective of whether they are required to do so statutorily or otherwise. Where possible we build long standing relationships with our customers and major suppliers, making clear our expectations of business behaviour. Kudos Shower Products Limited has a Modern Slavery Policy and all suppliers are notified of this and are expected to comply.
Kudos Shower Products Limited educates its employees regarding the types of factors which can indicate whether any worker (permanent or temporary) in Kudos Shower Products Limited’s supply chain may be subject to undue influence. In doing so Kudos Shower Products Limited actively encourages employees to report any suspicious activity to the HR Manager, acting in her capacity of Compliance Manager.
Kudos Shower Products Limited conducts rigorous checks to verify the identity of each worker and verify the worker’s right to work in the United Kingdom. Kudos Shower Products Limited also audits its supplying temporary work agencies against legislative compliance, including compliance with the Modern Slavery Act. It further complies with audits conducted by its customers.
The board of directors of Kudos Shower Products Limited believe that driving out slavery in any form from all corners of its supply chains is fundamental to the aims of Kudos Shower Products Limited and, accordingly, have approved this statement and the modern slavery policy. This statement and the accompanying modern slavery policy will be reviewed annually, unless circumstances dictate that it should be reviewed and/or renewed more frequently.
